As the safety of students, faculty, staff, and visitors is always a primary consideration, South College strives to have a safe and secure environment for the campus community. Off duty officers from local police departments provide security services for the college campuses, thus enhancing the institutional efforts to prevent crime and maintain a safe environment. South College maintains a crime log recording all reported crimes. The crime log is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the office of the Dean of Academic and Student Services for each of the campuses or by request to the Executive Director of Institutional Student Affairs. South College will notify the campus community in a timely manner of any criminal action includable in the annual security report that is reported to campus security or local police and that is considered to be a threat to students or employees. The college publishes an annual security report that contains information on policies and procedures relating to campus security, crimes and emergencies, drug and alcohol use, preventive measures, campus security, and access to campus facilities. The Annual Security and Crime Statistics (Clery) Report meets the requirements of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act and includes campus crime statistics.
