South College Indianapolis hosts career fair and debuts new campus spaces
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE August 19, 2026
South College hosted a career fair on Aug. 19 to connect students with local employers and showcase a major expansion of the Indianapolis campus.
South College Indianapolis offers healthcare programs from certificate to master levels across several disciplines, to provide viable professional paths for students in a sector that continues to grow in demand as the population ages.
The career fair offered students the opportunity to connect directly with employers, explore professional opportunities, and build relationships through on-site interview opportunities.
More than a dozen local employers participated, including Marion Health, Rush Memorial Hospital, Trilogy Health Services, Schneck Medical Center, the State of Indiana and Carmel Fire Department.
The event also highlighted a recent expansion that nearly doubled campus space from 33,000 square feet to approximately 65,500 square feet. The added space includes another Student Center, study rooms and classrooms for all programs, as well as a nursing skills lab equipped with high-fidelity manikins.
“The career fair and campus expansion are all part of our objective to provide highly trained healthcare graduates for the region,” South College Indianapolis President Courtney Sechler said. “We want to present the best resources for our students to succeed and demonstrate the modern spaces and tools we offer as a higher education institution.”
The Indianapolis campus continues to add academic options, including the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program that began last year.
South College Indianapolis opened in 2021 and offers associate and bachelor’s degrees in Health Science and Imaging Science; certificate, associate and bachelor’s degrees in Nursing; a Physician Assistant master’s program, certificate and associate degrees in Medical Assisting, and an associate degree in Surgical Technology.
The campus is located at 301 Pennsylvania Parkway.
