Keys to Success
Being successful in IS and IT requires the ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage your time well. Students need to be detail-oriented and should be able to shift seamlessly between the focus needed for technical work and the communication skills necessary for customer service.
South College’s Associate of Science in Network Administration and Security program is designed to prepare students for several industry exams, including the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator examination and other certification exams like CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+. In fact, many of the textbooks used in this program are CompTIA certified courseware used to prepare for the exam. Though passing is not guaranteed, students will have received a comprehensive review of the material covered on the exam and should be well prepared to work in the field right away.
This is the most advanced degree program offered by South College in network communication and security.
South College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award degrees at the doctorate, educational specialist, master’s, baccalaureate, and associate levels, as well as certificates.
