South College’s Master of Education in Elementary Education (K-5) Initial Licensure program is designed for professionals who have already earned a bachelor’s degree and seek to change careers to begin work as a licensed K-5 teacher with a Master of Education degree. The world of education is evolving, and this program is designed to challenge you, inspire you, and equip you to make a real impact.
In our Elementary Education (K-5) Initial Licensure master’s program, you’ll learn from seasoned professionals with extensive education experience who will be your guide as you embark on the pursuit of a new career as an educator. From classroom instruction and development workshops to field experiences and K-5 student mentoring, this program is designed to provide a comprehensive exploration of methods for fostering student engagement and achievement. To support busy professionals, our on-campus courses are offered one evening a week and all day on Saturdays.
