How did you get to where you are today in your career?
I started in 1990 as a Home Health Aide, obtained my certificate as a Certified Nurse’s Aide. One of my patients encouraged me to go to nursing school, 7 years later, I went to Nassau Tech Boces in New York and became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1997. 7 years I went to Farmingdale University in New York and became a Registered Nurse in 2004. In 2013 I obtained my bachelor’s in business and Healthcare Management at College of Central Florida. In 2017 I obtained my bachelor’s in nursing at College of Central Florida. In 2021 I obtained my masters in science of Nursing with the concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner at South College. I took the AANP Exam on May 12, 2021 and became officially a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Why did you select your program of study?
I always wanted to become a Family Nurse Practitioner to help the people without insurance.
How did South College prepare you for success in your career?
South College is an excellent Nursing Program for working professional nurses.

The pandemic COVID-19 gave me the courage to continue working at helping the people in need without interruption.
