The South College Certificate in Phlebotomy Technician program is designed to help you build skills relating to phlebotomy professional opportunities. Featuring one 3-month course, this certificate program focuses on development of basic knowledge and skills in collecting blood and non-blood specimens for lab analysis.

Emergency and critical respiratory care
Safety and infection control
Quality assurance
Professional conduct and ethics
Upon successfully completing the program, you will be eligible to sit for the national phlebotomy
technician certification examination.

The AS in Respiratory Therapy program is designed to prepare graduates to attempt national credential examinations administered by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). Our program can be completed in as little as 2 years full-time with a mix of online and in-person learning at our Knoxville campus.
