What You’ll Learn While Pursuing Your Online Master’s in Information Technology Degree

The Master of Science in Information Technology is designed to prepare you for today’s unique IT challenges.

As part of the Master’s in Information Technology online curriculum, critical thinking, effective data analysis, and professional communication skills (both oral and written) are emphasized. You will explore the effective use of current technology and emerging trends, and how to apply them to solve problems for organizations. Your course materials, virtual labs, and assignments will cover a range of topics, including principles of systems evaluation and design, networking, database programming and management, and information security. The Master of Science in IT program culminates in a capstone project where you will put into practice the knowledge and methods you’ve learned.

Through completion of the MS in IT, faculty work with you to develop the skills needed to for meeting user needs through the planning, development, implementation, and management of technological solutions.
