What You’ll Learn
Nearly every aspect of working and living in the modern day—including buildings, HVAC, technological systems, vehicles, phones, and a wide range of computers—relies in large part on electricity and the proficiency of the engineers who design and maintain them. As a graduate of our fully online Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology program, you can work in and drive innovation throughout the industries that fascinate and inspire you.
In this program, faculty with years of professional knowledge and experience will teach you to critically analyze and apply electrical engineering principles to real world situations. The curriculum will include courses on math, physics, engineering principles, digital electronics, AC/DC circuits, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial safety, quality, computer-aided drafting, computer programming, and more. You’ll learn to design, implement, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components for various fields, including service and manufacturing.
The AS Electrical Engineering Technology program requires successful completion of 90 quarter credit hours and is designed to be delivered in six consecutive quarters over a period of 18 months.
