South College’s Certificate in Nuclear Medicine program is designed for those who have completed a radiography, nursing, medical technology, radiation therapy, or related medical program. It will prepare you to become an entry-level Nuclear Medicine Technologist by teaching you to administer radioactive materials and use cutting-edge imaging technology to create diagnostic images. Students who successfully complete the Certificate program are eligible to apply for admission to write the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification examination.
In the Certificate in Computed Tomography program at South College, current radiography and nuclear medicine professionals and graduates will learn the skills necessary to be successful as entry-level computed tomography (CT) technologists.
The Certificate in Magnetic Resonance Imaging at South College is designed to create advancement opportunities for current radiologic technologists, nuclear medicine technologists, ultrasound technologists, and radiation therapists.
