Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a Concentration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging program is designed for qualified individuals who have graduated from a JRCERT-accredited or regionally accredited radiography program and want additional training in health science and MRI technology. Through our experienced faculty and carefully-chosen clinical affiliations, South College offers our students the benefit of many years of knowledge and experience in MRI practice. Our clinical connections can give students hands-on learning experience, and our MRI courses and clinical competencies are designed to meet the ARRT requirements for certification. Health science courses provide the opportunity to learn foundational knowledge in healthcare administration, healthcare law and ethics, leadership, cross-sectional anatomy, and current trends and issues.
