Motlow State Community College students will be eligible to transfer Associate of Health Science degree credits to South College in Nashville under a new agreement between the two institutions of higher education.
The transfer agreement encourages students who have successfully completed an Associate of Health Science at Motlow State to continue their education at South College. Once accepted to the Nursing program at South College, students may transfer credits without evaluation on a course-by-course basis. The agreement makes students eligible for application, but does not guarantee admission
“We strive to make the path to a career-focused education easy to navigate,” said Nick South, executive director of South College Nashville. “This partnership with Motlow State Community College creates a smooth process for students to transition from Motlow State and continue their education in the ever-growing health care industry.”
Prior to completing an associate degree at Motlow State, students will have access to educational counsel at both Motlow State and South College regarding the requirements of their selected academic program.
When applying to South College, Motlow State students must meet all academic and program requirements, such as college admission requirements, grade point average, technical standards and interviews.
