South College recently announced programmatic accreditation for its Associate of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography program in Asheville. The program received accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
The accreditation standards are established by CAAHEP and the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS).

CAAHEP’s programmatic accreditation of the Associate of Science in DMS validates that the program offers quality to its students.”
The Associate of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography provides undergraduate students with the academic and clinical foundations needed for careers in sonography.
