Why did you choose South College?
The reason for choosing South College was the result of positive interactions, support of faculty and staff as well as the strength observed in the educational program when visiting the college.

I chose Criminal Justice as there are numerous opportunities for serving my community and being passionate,
What are you doing now?
I am a Home Based Caseworker and Trainer with Ireland Home Based Service. I was a Family Case Manager ( Assessments and Permancy) through The Department of Children’s Services of Indiana ( DCS) for a few years and realized my preference was working as a provider to reunite families within involvement of DCS.
What motivated you to choose this career path?
I chose this profession as a result of being a survivor of domestic violence and substance abuse. I wanted to provide assistance to families involved in such situations.
Anything else that you want to share –
Working as a trainer in this field since 2017, I have a strong desire to educate others in this field. It is my desire to teach others within the criminal justice field by strengthening our communities with additional staff to assist our communities with positive support for those in need.
